Born in Taiwan, Liyu is a first-generation immigrant to America. Having lived in Vancouver, WA since he was three, Liyu is fluent in both English and Mandarin, earning a 5 on the AP Chinese Language & Culture Exam in 2018.

Also known as Larry or Leo, Liyu enjoys baking, cooking, and doing basically anything artistic in his free time. Liyu is also an avid volunteer for the American Red Cross and the Founder & President of the International Teens Upholding Nature Association (iTUNA).
